A. My Understanding About Multimedia
For me, multimedia is basically using different kinds of media, like pictures, videos, text, and sounds to communicate something more creatively and effectively. It’s not just about making things look pretty; it’s about helping people understand the message better and keeping them interested.
I realized that we actually use multimedia all the time. On social media, in school presentations, and even in simple posts we share online. It’s everywhere, and it really makes communication more meaningful and fun.
Here are some examples of what I’ve made:

B. How I Use Multimedia
For one of our school projects, I created a brochure about the job of an audio technician using Canva.
Here’s how I did it:
-
Planning: First, I researched what an audio technician does, their responsibilities, and the skills needed for the job.
-
Gathering Information: I collected important facts, photos, and short descriptions that I wanted to include in the brochure.
-
Designing in Canva: I opened Canva and chose a brochure template that looked professional but simple. Then I customized it, added text, adjusted fonts, inserted images related to audio equipment, and arranged everything neatly.
-
Finalizing and Saving: After reviewing my layout, I saved it as a PDF and image file to share for submission.
-
Presenting: Lastly, I uploaded it to my Google Classroom, explained its content as part of my project.

C. The Significance of Using Multimedia
I think using multimedia is really important because it makes learning and communication more engaging and creative. Instead of just reading plain text, multimedia adds visuals and sounds that make the message more interesting and memorable.
It also helps us express ourselves better. For example, when I made the brochure, I wasn’t just writing information. I was designing how people would see and understand it. Multimedia allowed me to be both creative and informative at the same time.
In today’s world, almost everything is digital, so knowing how to use multimedia is a big advantage. It helps in school, in work, and even in daily life when sharing information online.
Creating my multimedia project made me realize how powerful design and visuals can be. It taught me that creativity and information can go hand in hand. Whether it’s a simple brochure, a video, or a website, multimedia helps us communicate ideas in ways that words alone cannot.
